How to Play Brain Brawl
Brain Brawl is designed for maximum fun, competitive trivia battles, and seamless hosting on any mobile phone, laptop, monitor, or big screen TV.
Lobby & Team Setup
One player acts as the Game Host (the master of ceremonies). The host connects their device to a TV or screen visible to all players:
- Create 2 to 8 Teams: Choose team names, vibrant badge colors, and fun mascot emojis.
- Choose Scoring Mode: Standard Penalty (wrong answers lose points) or Casual Mode (no deductions).
- Set Timer: 15s, 30s, 45s, or turn the timer off for relaxed discussion.
- Pick a Quiz Pack: Select a curated trivia board or one of your custom-built quizzes.
The Brawl Matrix & Clues
The board is arranged into categories with escalating point values (100, 200, 300, 400, 500 pts). Higher point values feature tougher questions:
Pick a Clue
The active team chooses a category and point tier. The card flips into full-screen view.
The Clock Ticks
Teams buzz in or speak up. The countdown ring provides suspense with audio cues.
Host Verification
The host clicks 'Reveal Answer' to verify correctness and check explanations.
Awarding & Deducting Points
The team is awarded full clue points, and chooses the next clue on the board.
If Penalty Mode is ON, points are deducted. Other teams can now steal!
Special bonus clues that award +50 extra points for correct answers, but deduct 50 additional points if missed in Penalty Mode.
